Information About Other Vectors
Ticks and flies are both potential vectors of several serious
diseases. Fortunately there is almost no history of confirmed disease
transmission in Orange County by either group. The Orange County
Vector Control District regularly monitors ticks in the County
and our staff educates the public about reducing the populations
of flies.
